Pair fashion designers Thom Browne and Zac Posen with luxury carmaker Infiniti and what do you get? Two one-of-a-kind cars. Gilt City, the website that gives its members deals on high-end merchandise and exclusive access to VIP experiences, is offering two 2014 Infiniti Q50S 3.7 sedans customized by the designing men. Pop the doors of Browne’s Q50 with its reflective chrome-wrap finish and you’ll find his signature red, white and blue stripes zipping around the pebble-grain leather interior and onto the floor mats, not to mention a sterling-silver ring around the gearshift. (He even designed a coordinating luggage set that fits neatly into the trunk.) One look at Posen’s ride and there is no missing the ombré effect of the exterior: The matte-silver front morphs into a high-gloss, dark-gray rear. The red-leather interior (Posen says he was inspired by movie-premiere red carpets) is dressed in sumptuous Art Deco materials: velvet and shagreen, the latter on the steering wheel, shift knob, armrests and console top. The vehicles are $75,000 each and include a $10,000 shopping credit, a Gilt style consultation and a limited-edition accessory designed by each man. (Browne’s is a solid silver business-card case; Posen’s is a red leather smartphone clutch.) Both cars — and all their attendant goodies — go on sale Thursday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. Central time, at No extra room in your garage? Limited quantities of the card case ($650) and the phone clutch ($250) will be sold on the site. —Hillary Schmidt
